London Calling: HOPV23 Conference to Showcase Latest Advances in Hybrid and Organic Solar Cells

The 15th International Conference on Hybrid and Organic Photovoltaics (HOPV23) is set to take place from the 12th to the 14th of June 2023. For the first time, this nanoGe conference will be held in the vibrant city of London, centrally located at the priviled setting of the Senate House, an historic building from 1936, and close to many of London’s key sights and entertainment.

HOPV has a rich history of success and has attracted leading researchers and experts in the field of hybrid and organic photovoltaics. Organised by Tracey Clarke, James Durrant and Trystan Watson, this year’s conference promises to be no different, providing an excellent opportunity for scientists and engineers to network and discuss the latest developments in hybrid and organic solar cells.

This preeminent 3-day conference will feature renowned Keynote speakers such as Richard Friend, Thuc-Quyen Nguyen and Sang il Seok, as well as more than a hundred oral presentations, and 150 poster contributions. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with their peers and to engage in lively discussions about the latest trends and developments in their fields, covering topics such as:

  • Organic, perovskite, and oxide photovoltaics.
  • Materials and device optimisation.
  • Spectroscopy of photovoltaic materials.
  • Emerging characterisation techniques.
  • Modelling and simulation of molecules, materials and devices.
  • PV scale-up and industrialisation.
  • Material and devide stability.
  • Emerging concepts in solar energy conversion.
