In-person and online attendees were able to participate through the hybrid format
It was a pleasure meeting again so many familiar faces and also welcoming new colleagues from worldwide. Thank you for attending our first in-person symposia after more than a year.
In-person conferences are a great opportunity to share new ideas. We hope INTERECT has been a good space to improve your professional networking thanks to the organizers Elena Mas Marzá, Ward van der Stam and Núria López. Also, the involvement of the speakers made easier to exchange knowledge with the participants.
However, not only we met again face to face, but some participants could also attend INTERECT via streaming from their countries. They could share their questions and comments with the in-person attendees thanks to the hybrid format. The communication was bidirectional. We are especially thankful to the online speakers who made the effort to join us despite the difficult circumstances. This experience has charged us with energy to keep arranging more hybrid conferences in order to enlarge our community.
Finally, some of you got to know the city through a guided tour around the historical centre organized by INTERECT. We hope you loved València as much as we do!
